When asking questions about internet related issues its helpful if you include the website addresses that you are having issues with. Generally there are very few websites left that require you to use Compatibility View if you have the "Include updated website lists from MS" checked. When you encounter a web site that does not look right, you use the Compatibility View button (looks like a torn piece of paper on the rhs of the IE address bar) to add/remove the website from your personal list. consult your supervisors or system administrators as to what this setting should be. Uncheck "Display all sites in compatibility view"Ĭheck "Display intranet sites in compatibility view" (you are probably using sharepoint websites which require compatibility view). you should haveĬheck "Include updated website lists from Microsoft" On your Tools>Compatibility View Settings. you must be doing something wrong to have to view all websites in Compatibility View.
